So richtig warm werde ich nicht damit.
Scheint aber alles so zu tun wie es soll, nur, um es dann in einem Setup zu haben, das den Namen "Produktion" verdient, braucht es schon noch etwas Handarbeit, und verwendet zum teil Java.
Nichts gegen Java aber für eine hardwarenahme Komponente?

@resmo @mkaatman Same here. I don't have three nodes yet, but I have set up three Proxmox VMs on my Proxmox Mini PC. I tested Ceph, and the system works well.
Yesterday, I started with Linstor. The installation is more complex and less integrated with Proxmox than Ceph. However, based on my research, Linstor seems better suited for a three-node setup.

I made more progress on my investigation. My previous tests were conducted with an LXC. I found, LXC migration needed to be restarted, which caused longer downtime
I attempted to live migrate a VM with the same setup. The downtime was zero! Yes, you read that correctly!
After a dirty shutdown of a node, migrating the same VM takes 2:35. This duration is longer than that of the LXC, but the VM is heavier than an LXC

В прошлой статье мы разобрали как можно подготовить базовый дистрибутив Kubernetes на базе Talos Linux и Flux CD. Теперь нам предстоит обсудить возможность запуска виртуальных машин и всего что для этого необходимо, а это в первую очередь хранилище и сеть. Мы поговорим про такие технологии как KubeVirt, LINSTOR и Kube-OVN Для начала мне стоит рассказать зачем вообще нужны виртуальные машины, почему бы нам не ограничиться только-лишь контейнерами? Всё дело в том, что контейнеры в ядре Linux не дают должного уровня изоляции. Несмотря на то, что с каждым годом ситуация становится всё лучше, тем не менее довольно часто мы сталкиваемся с уязвимостями, позволяющими покинуть песочницу контейнера и повысить свои привилегии в системе.

@thatayush good question! So I trend toward ephemeral storage of the allocations. However, for persistence I use the csi plugin for #linstor. Mostly from work a few years ago where linstor was poetry to use.
