One half of the face of the character of Captain "Jean Luc Picard" from the Starship Enterprise (Star Trek) is equipped with futuristic implants made of processors and cables. Picard is an older gentleman with wrinkles, a short gray beard and a half bald head. The mural is supposed to show the captain transformed into a Borg, thus becoming "Locutus".

A3: Seemed like it was a side effect of whatever they were trying to use #Locutus for.

However, for as long as the #Borg have been in existence I'd have thought crazy generational stuff like this (or worse) would've been part of their failsafe in case any of their drones were captured and freed. Elegant explanation for why the liberated Borg drones in S1 could hear the cube.👍

Goes to show the Borg are only really as smart as their writers.🤷‍♂️
