Anyway, right now I'm at a point where Frodo is about to leave the Shire, and what I really like is the gradual escalation from mild preoccupation, when Frodo gets the ring (and even from the moment the ring enters the Shire, as told by Gandalf) to the sense of worry, urgency and doom as Frodo is leaving. It all just feels very real.

I got this coin as a gift from my dad, when he saw it at a coin convention and ordered one for me.

There are so many alternate versions of me where I ended up doing something different, but one that I dream about most is if I'd been able to work on designing things for the Lord of the Rings movies.
