📖Unfortunately, I suddenly noticed it and held it directly without setting it up. The cranes are flying back from their winter quarters.
ℹ️The crane (Grus grus) belongs to the same family. It is 130 cm long and has a wingspan of 245 cm. Its diet includes both animals and plants. Cranes are migratory birds.

I took this photo in Sweden. I had hoped to photograph a moose, but I was probably too loud. Instead, I captured the moment when the first rays of sunlight pierced the fog. Getting up at 3:00 a.m. was worth it!

📖 Entstanden ist das Foto in Schweden. Eigentlich wollte ich einen Elch erwischen, aber ich war wahrscheinlich zu laut. Dafür ist aber dieses Foto mit den ersten Sonnenstrahlen die den Nebel durchdringen entstanden. Das frühe aufstehen (3:00 Uhr) hat sich also gelohnt!

📝 I got up at 5 a.m. to photograph dragonflies before they became active. Unfortunately, I didn't spot any until later, but it was still early enough to take a few photos.
ℹ️ The small spreadwing (Lestes virens) belongs to the damselfly family. It has a wingspan of up to 4 cm. The short blue stripe on its rump is striking.

📝 Ich bin um 5 Uhr aufgestanden um die Libellen in Morgenstarre zu erwischen. Leider hab ich erst spät welche entdeckt, aber noch rechtzeitig genug für ein paar Fotos.
ℹ️ Die kleine Binsenjungfer (Lestes virens) gehört zu den Teichjungfern. Sie hat eine Flügelspannweite von bis zu 4 cm. Markant ist der kurze blaue Streifen am Hinterteil.
