The easiest trick for me to overcome procrastination caused by executive dysfunction is to take the smallest possible step that progresses my task. This can mean for example creating a folder and an empty InDesign file for a new project or getting all the cooking ingredients needed on the table. I like to cut the task into tiny pieces and only focus on completing the current step to avoid overwhelming myself.
Prepping is also a very helpful - getting to work for example is way easier after packing my backpack and choosing my clothes the night before.
