Últimamente #Megasync me falla sin parar. Tocará pasarse a Filen.io más pronto que tarde.

New experiment: delete all of the stock apps (File manager, gallery, video player, music player, etc.) from my #Android phone (a #Realme C55) and replace them with #FOSS alternatives from #Fdroid and #IzzyOnDroid :

- File manager -> File Explorer
- Photos and video player -> #AvesLibre
- Music player -> #Gramophone
- Google Contacts -> #Fossify Contacts

I've deleted #GooglePhotos too, since I'm going to use #Filen_io and #Megasync for that purpose.

It is even worst than I thought. #MEGAsync simply exchanged the contents of commandclass.cpp for the contents of commandclass.h. It is awful.
STAY AWAY FROM #MEGAsync! It will corrupt your files!!!

Am I the only one experiencing weird issues with #MEGAsync? It often detects conflicts when I'm updating a file from a single computer. Come on, if the document was already synced and is then being edited from one computer, there should be no doubt that the latest local version is the correct one.

And the worst part (as shown in the picture): it now claims that one of my files was moved to another location, which is not true.

I recommend everyone to stay away from #MEGAsync.

@gnome has integration with Google, Microsoft and Nexcloud accounts. It should also have integration with Proton, Tuta (Tutanota), Dropbox, Mega and other similar services.

People that design software that, after first use, automatically starts up again the next time you start up your pc or browser have to be banished to a far away dungeon. I will throw away the key gladly.

@peppe #megasync behaves oddly, too. It's usable, but looks like you know what. ;)

Any other #Linux users feel like cloud services neglect them when it comes to their apps? I've moved from #MegaSync to #PCloud and just had a 30yr working document corrupted in the sync! (I've retrieved it from elsewhere - phew!) Wondering where to go next. I'm on #Manjaro on desktop and #Murena #eOS on mobile. Would any other Linux users recommend a #cloud service? Really want reliable desktop apps, and mobile apps compatible with #KeePass. Shouldn't be a big ask, should it? Hehe!

@DopeGhoti @nathans420 #KeepassXC, syncing with #MegaSync (#LinuxMint, 2x #Manjaro, #Android) for years without any issues.

Well, I could get most what I wanted from the repos but I was annoyed that there was no Pix (I use it with my #Nikon camera) and no tool to convert #MegaSync deb files. Other than that, most users would find what they need indeed.
I'm sure they will come around at some point. It's still a new distro after all.
