I attached a SenseCap T1000-E credit card sized tracker to my lovely but very naughty dog, Rita via a small pouch on her collar. When she escapes out of our grounds on her adventures to visit neighbors etc we are able to keep track on where she is via a map on the Meshcore web app.
No monthly fees, initial cost €42 for the T1000-E and €20 for the Lilygo Lora V2.1 attached to laptop. I have contributed to the developers of the software.
New heltec v3 case & holster are siiiick!
That neon green screams #cyberpunk, the purple reminds me of the joker, and an unstoppable mesh network oozes #cypherpunk
It's also very functional. The holster really locks the device in place. There's no risk of it falling out just by moving around.
I don't think I could have possibly done any better with this.
Building a small local Meshcore network here with LoRa radios. Managed to communicate with the repeater on my roof from a SenseCap T1000-E, some 7 kilometers away. Much further reach than I originally anticipated.

Wow, it seems like I just had a #RAKWireless current sensor go bad after about a month of use.
It was impeding current flow (thus stopping the battery from being charged) and when I swapped it out for a replacement, the replacement worked just fine.

IMHO, one of the killer-features of Yggtray (https://github.com/the-nexi/yggtray) is the "Peer Discovery" dialog. It allows to fetch public Yggdrasil peers (https://github.com/yggdrasil-network/public-peers), ping them to test the latency and add peers with best latency to the Yggdrasil configuration. Also you can export peers with the latency check results in CSV format.
Kudos for the Yggtray developer and my good friend Nexi (@nexi) for developing this feature!

When I flew back home, I had to fly over my hometown and catch a connecting flight back in.
Using a GPS-enabled #meshtastic node, I successfully managed to send a message from myself in the air down to a node I own and control on the ground while flying over.
These ad hoc comms networks are cool!
uh this is very cool - gut a Quansheng UV-K6 and install a meshtastic node with a screen.
