Als Funkamateur ist es toll, forschen zu können. Die langsamste Variante von #Meshtasic soll bis -160 dB empfangbar sein. Ein paar Meshtasic Daten und ein Anruf "CQ DE DN9MS PSE K" dauert volle 15 Sekunden. Mit einem Empfänger mit CW ist es hörbar. Ich suche #Musik #Nerds mit außergewöhnlichen Fähigkeiten, ob die Information gehört und verstanden werden könnten. Es ist nur wenig schneller als Morsen. Vielleicht ist in diesem extrem Modus Meshtasic und Morsen gleichwertig.

What's this node repeat with all f, router ? repeater ? or just a bug ? #meshtasic

Am seem to be getting multiple reports of the #RAK #meshtasic board stopping functioning on this setup in image. The device basically just has the green led flashing after a week of ok functioning and no re-flash of the firmware helps. Board seems to die permanently. Is there problem in this configuration anyone can spot or knows about? E.g. the current/voltage management? Cheers.

Ohoh... Fast alle Nodes sind 868er Nodes. Öhm. Ausser im Raum BS. Da gibt es 433er 😀

nützlich (also so nützlich dass viele Menschen sich das equipment und die Fähigkeiten aneignen wollen und können),

@MichaelMrak Gibt es noch kleinere Varianten? Ich nutze ein 8 Zoll Tablet als Navi und es gibt eine #meshtasic App. Könnte was damit koppeln. Ich schleppe allerdings schon genug Zeug mit mir rum, das nichts mit meinem eigentlichen Fotografieren zu tun hat. Viel Spaß damit, auf jeden Fall!

I don't think I'll be recommending the 1000e tracker card. It's small, convenient, capable of receiving messages, but terrible outbound signal due to the tiny antenna. It'll do better once I have an actual antenna'd relay installed in the apartment it can bounce messages through

I’ve begun to dabble in #meshtasic along with @mathias & @rasterweb and I have a lot of ideas but I think I need to get the basics down first.

So far I’ve been able to send a direct message between two radios, and I’ve seen a couple of strangers show-up as well, but not enough to reach anyone I know.

I think the next step is to setup some sort of shared group with the people I know nearby-is and start adding nodes until we can reach each other.
