The Hudson Dusters were Dave Woods, Ed Gregory, and Rick Henderson – Phillip Namanworth also appears here as “Pot” on the rear cover. They took their name from an early 20th century NY gang.
Picked this up on a lark because I enjoy Dave Van Ronk – no idea how rare or common it is. Includes covers of “Chelsea Morning” and “Both Sides Now” from Joni Mitchell. Very 1967 – almost a Monkees vibe – but I dig it.

La première bande-annonce de Spider-Noir installe immédiatement son atmosphère singulière : une ville noyée sous la pluie, des ruelles obscures, des silhouettes découpées par la lumière des réverbères. L’action se déroule dans le New York des années 1930, un cadre rarement exploré dans les adaptations Marvel. Ce choix esthétique ancre la série dans un imaginaire directement hérité du roman noir et du cinéma de genre.
Un héritage issu du multivers Marvel
La série s’inscrit dans la continuité des univers alternatifs introduits par Spider‑Man: Into the Spider‑Verse, tout en opérant une rupture de ton radicale. Ici, pas de Peter Parker ni de narration adolescente, mais une déclinaison plus mature et crépusculaire du mythe. Dans Spider-Noir, Nicolas Cage incarne Ben Reilly, un détective privé chevronné, usé par la vie et en perte de repères. Dans cet univers, il n’est pas désigné comme Spider-Man, mais simplement comme « The Spider ». Le personnage est présenté comme un homme marqué par une tragédie personnelle, qui a volontairement tourné le dos à son passé de justicier masqué.
