My fourth cowl this February. I was given mohair/silk yarns from my knitting group, so I've been knitting these cowls. I'm hoping to finish this and donate all four together next week 😉
I got a pound of #mohair that I let cold soak for a day or two - does it always smell this bad, or did I let it sit too long?? Truly one of the worst smells I’ve ever had in my fiber process.
Responses/explanations welcome, but largely I just needed to express this confusion.
Sunday Sweater Mohair Edition is, I believe, the third jumper I’ve ever knitted. While there are many things about it that I’d like to change (with the knowledge and the tools I have now), I still love it and wear it often. I will definitely knit another version of it but in a different colour.
