Yesterday there was a committee meeting on the Canada #Disability Benefit #CDB Mike #Morrice was able to get some amazing amendments passed. One that narrowly passed (6-5) was that the agreements with provinces/Territories be public. This is an important step for transparency #cdbBy2023
Another amendment (and that Liberals proposed legislation without this is why I don’t trust them or consider themselves progressive) is that the benefit is indexed to inflation. None more same level for years BS

A third incredibly important amendment that #Morrice proposed and was passed is that the process to apply and to receive the benefit be as barrier free as possible. No massive hoops that people who are already suffering need to go through. #cdnpoli
