What do you notice, video editors? (apart from my Mac mini 2014 which has trouble scrubbing video)

Ans.: each clip audio is identical for the overlapping region so the rolling edit doesn't change the resulting background audio no matter which cut you choose!

It is possible to split (programmatically) an audio track spanning multiple clips into chunks (according to the saved timeline EDL) and the seams are sample perfect! No discontinuities, zilch, nada.

The "off by one" bug didn't show up! 🙂

This is a creen capture of a video editor showing two tracks: one video and one audio. On each track there are two adjacent files that touch together and the junctions are right under the play head. The video track doesn't show any image but the clips are identified by their filename. The two audio wav files are named slice01.wav and slice02.wav. The audio track shows a continuous sine wave that is perfectly smooth, that was hoped for!
