The Warrens are back busting spooks in #theconjuringlastrites . Is it as good as the first two? Or a least better than the awful last instalment?

‘Tron: Ares,’ directed by Joachim Rønning, is the latest installment in the 43-year-old Tron franchise. Ah, 80s horror. Where the kills are arbitrary and the plots don’t matter!
This practically made-for-TV level horror is about as mediocre as they come.

Watched Hotel Chevalier tonight — a 13-minute gem from Wes Anderson with Natalie Portman and Jason Schwartzman. Classic Anderson style: colour, stillness, awkward beauty, one perfect song, and a stunning final shot. So much packed into so little time. Lovely stuff — and a great prologue to The Darjeeling Limited, which I can’t wait to watch next.

Just finished seeing Mad Max: Fury Road. A great, raw action flick that I mostly enjoyed. It's relatively short and to the point, with neatly choreographed action scenes and doesn't rely too much on CGI. Some really great shots.
I found myself wishing it would spend a bit more time on the worldbuilding or the characters, but I didn't mind much. I still prefer the previous Mad Max movies, though, they were a bit more surreal and deranged.
