We went to hospital with Mum yesterday, her eyes are healing well, and the consultant is really happy with her progress, and advised she doesn't need prescription glasses 🤓 just ready readers will do! Which is good!
Sorted her phone out too, just a simple case of taking the battery out and putting it back in!!
We definitely needed the pub lunch, although we didn't go to our usual place, (not impressed).

Was chatting with Ms DT last night about what I can be called after the baby arrives!
I don't want to be Grandma or Nanna, for various reasons!
I really like Birdie! She doesn't get it 🤔
I explained it was cos I will be flitting in and out.
My other options are BiBi or GiGi,
I've trawled various websites for options but can't land on anything I like!! 🤷

Today's adventure involves another trip to the eye clinic with Mum, Mr DT is going to have to have a look at her phone, she's not answering messages and it's going straight to voicemail!
She's told staff that 'its broken' she's managed to brick two phones previously, I have no idea how she does it!!

Mum's hospital visit went ok yesterday, her eyes are recovering well thankfully, she was her usual delightful self, totally unappreciative of the new slippers and alarm clock I took for her, or the fact that Mr DT and I took her to the hospital.
We're taking her again next Tuesday!!

Yesterday's catch up was wonderful, Peru sounded awful to me, (iowaska) not sure how you spell it.
Does not sound like my kinda thing but my friend reckons it was wonderful and she feels cleansed and healed, all sounds a bit Woo Woo to me 🤔
Never the less it was lovely to see her and have cuppa and cake 😋
Also in and out of charity shops, I got two baby things, two shirts for Mr DT, a top for me and a mug of course, all for less than £20.
This afternoon I'm off to knit and natter, having missed last month I'm really looking forward to catching up, and seeing where people are up to with their WIP'S.

Yesterday's volunteer gathering was exceedingly pleasant, until one of my fellow volunteers started talking about Zia Yussuf resignation from Reform, and how she thought Sarah Pochin was right to call for a ban on the Bhurka, I couldn't let her get away with blatant racism, and called her out! It was an unfortunate way to end the day!
I just hope I don't have to work with her 😡
