Just wrapped my first ever day at the #aimexpo . Trade shows are usually 25% agenda, 75% serendipity, but I don’t think I’ve ever been so engaged mostly eavesdropping and observing a show for a day.

It’s also wild to be somewhere both sides of my professional brain merge.

The powersports/motorsports industries are a puzzle I am endlessly fascinated trying to figure it out.

Wisst ihr, was eine #Scannerpersönlichkeit ist? Man nennt sie auch #NeoGeneralist, #Vielinteressierte*r oder #Multipassionate. Das sind Menschen, die vielfältigste Interessen und übergreifendes Wissen haben, deren Hobbys eine große Bandbreite abdecken. Damit einher geht bisweilen, dass sie nicht lange bei bestimmten Themen verweilen – sondern oft wie ein Schmetterling von einem spannenden Ding zur nächsten interessanten Sache flattern. Häufig gepaart mit einer großen Freude am Lernen und/oder interdisziplinärem Arbeiten.

Das formale Gegenstück ist übrigens die #Taucherpersönlickeit mit sehr vertieftem Wissen in einem bestimmten Sachgebiet. Und natürlich gibt es viel dazwischen.

Wichtig: In Abgrenzung zum #Scanner betrachten sollte man #Hochbegabung und #Hochsensibilität. Beides kann mit dem Scannersein kann zusammenfallen, muss aber nicht.

Ich bin mir sicher, dass jeder von euch jemanden kennt, der die Züge einer Scannerpersönlichkeit hat, aber nichts davon ahnt. Wer fällt euch ein?
