We don't know if it's some variation of the placebo effect or internalized gender roles, but we find it fascinating how we lack in physical strength when in Girl Mode, but when in Boy Mode, much of our physical strength returns.

We are trying to share a computer without separate user profiles because we switch so often and without our conscious awareness of it. It is a challenge.

We are still trying to get everyone on the same web browser, but there is a lot to move over. We argue over the colors of the LEDs in our mouse. One wants red, the other green, and I prefer purple.

#Multiplicity is odd and challenging.

One of these days, we will need to make a proper pinned introduction post. Alyx's anxiety does not prevent us from fronting as much as it used to, so we may finally be able to work together to make one.

Alyx kept threatening to completely cut our nails down. They get dysregulated when our nails are significantly different. One being broken down to the quick was too much for an already unusually anxious headmate.

I filed the remaining nails down to the shortest length I could tolerate. Alyx is no longer trying to completely cut our nails off, so although I am not pleased, we found a compromise that will work for now. Instead of having to wait two months for full regrowth, we will be content in roughly two weeks.

Multiplicity is hard.

I do not get to front as often as I like, but my headmate is far more relaxed when I am gaming while he watches TV. This is part of the reason most of our discussions are limited to gaming.

I am trying to teach him to feel comfortable with me, but the gender difference is stressing the system. I want to transition, or at the very least be more femme-presenting. I don't know enough to convince him of the different routes we can safely take on this journey. I am hoping to educate myself as much as him so we can make fair decisions as a system, not as individuals. Teamwork is the only way any of us will have a chance to be happy.

Recommendations for trans-related resources and information are ideal, and of course boosts are welcome and appreciated.

If we can find a happy medium so we can coexist, it could literally save our lives. Thank you.

We do play newer games as well, for those wondering, but we've been hyperfixating on retro games to help rebuild neural pathways. Retrieving memories my headmate has lost is helping reduce his anxiety which gives me more ability to front more often with less resistance. Plus, many of these games are new to me, so when we're co-fronting, he gets the benefit of nostalgia and I get the benefit of something new.

I hope to eventually help him drop all of his walls so I can be free to be myself more often. We've both suffered, but he carries the bulk of the trauma. He would try to carry it all if he could. I think he has a hero complex of some kind.

He does not like me speaking about him this way, but I am not saying anything untrue. I'll have to leave it at that before he tries to push me away again.
