Since the novel doesn't progress as much as I wish to & for the time being, a big part of it exists here in the Mastodon/Fediverse, I just came to the conclusion that the instances, of the Star Ryde Multiverse, exist as thick but flat universes on the back of a billion Mastodons (one at least named John) which stand on the back of a gigantic creature named Great T'pebell. I guess it's an Ouroboros...

In the next printing of Sapiens its author may want to reconsider the claim that #relativity isn't a #religion. On one hand, this would seem to be an untestable prediction like #darkmatter, #stringtheory and the #multiverse...except we can see into the #past. It's exactly why we launched the James Webb #space telescope and why we investigate redshift.
Of those theories that seek to challenge the status quo (except dark matter, which... don't get me started) only #autaxys actually has a shot at being falsifiable for that reason. In fact, we just found the earliest ever galaxy with #JWST...

@codewiz I've argued that confirmation bias has become a pillar of modern #science. Otherwise we wouldn't still have these fallacies of #darkmatter, #stringtheory, and the #multiverse.
Part of the problem is if you don't make a: (1) falsifiable and (2) prediction all you're left with is proverbially searching under a street light for the keys to your tenure promotion (or Nobel prize!)
