So my journey to de big tech my life has taken the next step, I have ordered a Fairphone 5 with Murena /e/OS. My iPhone has died after I de Appled all my services by moving to a combination of Synology NAS and Proton services.

I will keep sharing the experience, my experiment with SailfishOS on a C2 has been unworkable as a daily driver but keeping it alongside my main phone for now.

I got my daughter a pixel tablet and stylus. But I flashed Murena /e/os on it. Then put fdroid on it. She found a tutorial on drawing and made this with Krita.

J'aimerais pouvoir quitter #Android mais si Murena n'est pas fiable ça ne sert a rien

@fosstastic @MichaelSpatz Ich glaube, jeder hat unterschiedliche Motive hinsichtlich eines Smartphonekaufs (Umwelt, #unplugtrump, Geldbeutel, neue Technik usw.). Das ist auch OK so. Daher kann ich auch nur für mich sprechen. Würde ich mir ein neues Smartphone kaufen, wäre es ein #fairphone, ein #shiftphone oder ein #VollaPhone. Gebraucht kommt für mich derzeit nur ein Gerät mit #grapheneos, #murenaos oder #IodeOS in Frage. Es ist eine persönliche Entscheidung.

Since the /e/ Operating System is a fork from Lineage OS I was not surprised that my particular phone is not supported at this time

What is hot warming is the fact that capable programmers put their time, money, food & drink & sweat into enabling users to rip themselves from the grip of the Duo Poly which exists of Apple and Google

Je reçois une alerte de l'IT aujourd'hui. Mon mot de passe et 2FA ont été blacklistés pour cause qu'ils ont été utilisés via le réseau TOR. Le stress monte, mon gestionnaire de mot de passe a-t-il été compromis ?
J'ouvre mon smartphone et je vois que l'option "Masqué mon adresse IP" est active ... Je n'ai pas souvenir l'avoir activé !

I bought a Fairphone 4 as a part of my project of de-googling my life.

Playing with different operating systems, I somehow ended up with a phone where most of the sensors didn't work, even if they did when I got the phone.

Saturday #retrocomputing pursuits: Logged into a shell on my #murenaos phone, which is running #busybox under #Termux, from my unmodified #AtariST 520STFM. The ST has a Simple WiFi Modem 2 plugged into the serial port, and I'm using #NeatnNiftyTAZ as my comms program. This puts the biggest grin on my face!

#murenaos toutes mes apps bancaire fonctionne sauf une, CBC. Il y a une étape supplémentaire de vérification. Il faut faire une photo recto/verso de sa carte d'identité et faire un scan de son visage. C'est propulsé par onfido. L'app indique ne pas trouver mon visage... Je contacte ma banque asap mais si vous avez des idées, je suis preneur. 😊

Bon ba mon FairPhone n'aura pas fait longs feux !
Après moins d'un an d'utilisation, je n'ai plus de transférer de fichiers via USB et la carte mère de l'USB est oxydée ! Je ne l'ai pas mis dans des milieux humides, je l'ai juste pris en rando, bref usage normal en mon sens et jamais eu de soucis avec mon oneplus 🙄
Évidement le port USB est en pièce détachée, mais pas la carte mère qui gère cette partie.
J'espère que le SAV pourra faire quelque chose. Coté positif, ça va me faire utiliser mon smartphone murena de manière plus intensive.
