From a partner of mine I'm with on this bus
"We tried to get to the store today. Neither the Leaf nor the bus was able to get out of Gordon's Gulch, as the tyres have insufficient grip, the car insufficient ground clearance and the snow chains didn't make enough sense to me for me to be able to properly apply them. Furthermore, when we tried with the Leaf, it ended up low on battery, and when we reversed it back and then tried the bus, the bus ended up sliding at a diagonal angle and nearly hitting a tree. We then very carefully used the snow chains and stones on the ground to boost grip while reversing slowly back towards our campsite. Hitting a sign was a necessary step because it was that or wrecking the bus sideways into a tree on the hillside with it sliding due to the slope. The sign is still standing, just a little bent."
We really need snow tyres which we can't afford and we are stuck at a campsite and could use help
The problem with the bus is only one of the tyres are mud and snow and the other is regular road tyres and we could really use help getting out with new tyres and such
And could use help with getting food sent while we are stuck here so we don't end up out of food

Still could use help with this y'all. My fiancΓ© has work now and might be able to help out with this initial consult at least (maybe yay), but a lot of their income is still going to go to monthly bills like rent, utilities, internet, etc. Plus groceries since my SNAP benefits (now that they've been reinstated... for now) isn't enough to cover our needs since we both have special dietary restrictions.
The sooner I can be able to pay this initial consult, the sooner I can see if it's even possible to go after this medical company... and then figure out if it's even doable.
In decent news, I might get a technical interview with a company I've worked for before (in a different location, in a different role and department) so maybe that'll pan out, but I wouldn't be starting until probably December if I do somehow get it, so I wouldn't get paid for a little while anyways.
I really appreciate y'all's collective help over this year... it means so much to me. I really hope that next year I won't need to be doing this anymore, and I can finally fulfill my promise from last year where I try to give back as much as I received from people.

EDIT TO ADD: My fiance wasn't able to help out too much, unfortunately, so I'm still about forty away from paying at least the initial consultation fee to then get scheduled. The sooner this can get scheduled and happened, the sooner I can figure out what, if anything, can be done about my situation. Fuck this medical company. Their inability to do shit has fucked me up like mad.
