Only #water is used more often as a #naturalresource than sand (and gravel). The demand for sand keeps rising and has three-folded over the last 20 years. Hence, sand has become the most mined material in the world. (3)

Yes commercial value. Basically if one were to #rent, or is, renting out the #land, how much would they get? #Tax that value.

It needs to be done, but among the #breadAndCircuses this issue is not to be seen or heard.

If the land has a natural resource that #thePeople say should be utilised and isn't, then all known land with that valuable resource would be taxed a bit extra to help pay for a #subsidy to gather that #naturalResource.
