I've bought, received and used for the first time today, a #Neewer #CB200C #ContinuousLighting Lamp.

Thus far I'm suitably impressed and especially so, at the price these things go for.

The lamp seems straight forward enough and robust - if it proves durable/reliable I will consider adding another lamp to go with this one.

So, it's my birthday today, and usually at this time I take a selfie in the first hours of the 17th. Shot this quickly so pardon me for the messy hair and beard. Shot this with my modified Canon, fitted with Black Mist filter and Neewer IR720 infrared filter. Interesting results I'd say. I've bounced the flash off the wall on my side for a quick result.

Bóthar na Soilse 3 (road of lights 3) - 2023. Something from last winter, in December. I checked my profile here and seems I didn't post it (but posted it to IG), so I hope I'm not missing anything. As the title suggests, it is the third one in a series of 4, but I'll keep the rest for later maybe. I don't want to post it all at once like I did on IG. I remember that I was trying to test some new Neewer flare filters back then (as you can see from the street lights).

غَـيْـهَـبْ (darkness), 2022. Not sure if I've posted this one here before, but hope I didn't! Shot this in one winter stroll in the neighborhood, just around the corner. Even though the sun wasn't quite shining yet, but I've infrared filter to shoot this one (Neewer IR950). I guess it helped with the dark mood after all.

Súil na Neimhe (Heaven's eye). This was the last panorama I shot in Ramadan, like one month ago. This panorama in particular is interesting for many aspects, as I was able to go around the fisheye lens limitation with filters, and shot it with Neewer's IR950 infrared filter. In addition to that, despite having a high threshold, the panorama had some colors still but won't show up until the saturation is boosted.
For this one, I preferred the tunnel projection instead of the little planet (but I might as well do that later).

Another panorama from the yard, but this time with a twist, sort of. I’ve finally managed to go around a problem that had been giving me a headache for a long time, and that is fitting filters ON my 15mm fisheye lens. The only way to shoot infrared with this lens was to use a gel filter at the back, but here, with this panorama (which was a test really), I’ve used #Neewer IR950 infrared filter (with 950nm threshold) on the front of the lens, using some “make-shift” or improvisation, if you’d call it! The images had some tiny bits of vignetting on the edges, but after stitching the panorama, all are gone, luckily. I think this “hack” would open some new gates for me. Well, if I can shoot panoramas outside the house that is…
Despite the high threshold, some color was there, and I’ve raised the saturation high to show it here. It is quite strange how the sky turned out half gray and half bluish. I’ve also stitched the nadir point here, almost to perfection, but alas, some stitching errors had to be fixed later on.

My finds so far this week. Pair of PS4 Move controllers for 8.50 each. Surprise find a #Neewer side camera handle and other stuff for a buck eack. (The 4 beef pho count as one.)

So, we've been busy most weekends of late with roof and property surveys.

Hence, it's treat time 😁 Meet our new flying partner, a DJI Mini4 Pro, call name Fortuna.

Hard case and a set of Neewer (love their camera kit!) ND & CPL filters round out the kit.

Went with this over a Air3 as we do a lot of in town work so the 250g helps a lot, and our Air2S is essentially brand new as DJI replaced recently.

I wasn't expecting to find a #SmallRig cage for my #Sonya7IV so soon but I did at @masterliquidation for 15.
I went back to their North location and found the #Neewer lightweight side handle was still there. I got it for 12.

That many tinkerers like me may even use, gasp, Linux?
