Is there an ubuntu desktop netinstall? #boot #dvd #netinstall

Ich hätte gerne ein #smartphone ohne Betriebssytem.

Die Möglichkeit, dieses dann per #netinstall mit einem System meiner Wahl zu bestücken, bzw. auch auswählen, welche Apps vorinstalliert werden sollen. Das würde verhindern, daß ich zig Apps, die ich nie brauche deaktivieren muß, die aber trotzdem den Platz belegen, den ich anderweitig nutzen könnte.

#calyxos oder #graphenos sind da schon sehr nah dran.

Significa que ya se completó el #desarrollo de Trisquel 12, no, aun no.

Aun está pendiente la l10n del #netinstall, y claro, todo el testing necesario para que nos acerquemos a Beta y posterior RC.

Sin embargo los pilares de #Ecne ya están en sitio. Los invitamos a probar en VMs las imágenes disponibles.

Esto da pie a que podemos dar por iniciados los trabajos para dicha versión 🍻

Desde ya tenemos muchos retos, como dar continuidad al #netinstall, de igual manera hay pláticas para que Ecne agregue soporte a #RISCV

Finalmente, se agradece todo el feedback con el que nos puedan apoyar del último set de ISOs de Aramo 11.0.1

On today's #Trisquel meeting we took the step to update the #netinstall to use the latest linux-hwe-6.5 kernel for v11.0 aka #Aramo

We are ironing some details to build the latest ISO set updates, it will add netinstall for #arm64 and #ppc64el devices with built-in bootloader. Sadly that leaves out arm SBC.

So, it feels like a new release already. 🥳

Please recall that v12.0 is still looking for a name. Please vote or suggest one at the forum.

@landley I'll propably have to gut functions out of toybox to get it where I want it to be, but then again the "#CORE" Version of OS/1337 will be very much barebones....

Just the essentials to get #Dropbear #Client to be able to #SSH into stuff, be able to make a #ramdisk and #wget / tiny-#curl everything else (i.e. a system image one could dd onto a HDD/SSD)...

Kinda like an old #netinstall #Floppy...

Ideally configureable to the point that I could also swap #dbclient for dropbear as #Server

Hoy es un buen día para probar #Trisquel #GNU/Linux.

Normalmente Trisquel sigue versiones de larga duración, #LTS, siendo la versión 11.0 (Aramo) la más reciente, basada en Ubuntu 22.04

El repositorio backports alberga algunos programas específicos con versiones recientes #libreoffice es uno de ellos.

Cientos de actualizaciones desde su publicación, también cuenta con un instalador #netinstall basado en debian-installer, para realizar una instalación por red desde cero.

I am not an #ubuntu hater nor have an appetite for Arguing their Snap stuff. But all I want for my summer birthday is #pop_os #COSMICDE running on #debian #bookworm #netinstall from an official #system76 install script. Bookworm is in such great shape and cosmic is my favorite UI.

Wollte ja eigentlich die #CDboot Lösung für #netinstall per #http opfern.
Wie sich rausstellt, geht das nicht so einfach.
Also hab ich jetzt ne vm mit der ich #mini.iso inclusive #preseed file erstellen kann. Damit kann ich #devuan VMs userdefined #unattended erstellen.
Im nächsten Schritt gehts ins #Ansible #Playbook.
