Viele Dinge, so sage ich öfters mal ironisch, habe ich in diesem Jahrtausend oder alternativ seit der Euro-Umstellung nicht mehr gemacht. So war ich in diesem Jahrtausend kein einziges Mal im AJZ (Ajo). Einerseits könnte man das auf mein Alter zurückführen, anderseits, dass das Ajo auch nicht mehr auf meinem Weg liegt. Als ich noch im Ostteil der Stadt wohnte, waren das JZ Kamp, AJZ und PC69 das Bermuda-Dreieck zum Feiern und Live-Konzerte. Tja, dieses Damals, ich vermisse es. Aber auch damals, 1998 habe ich es verpasst, ich weiß selber nicht weshalb, das Konzert von Refused im AJZ irgendwie verpasst. Eine kleine Entschädigung gibt es als YouTube-Videos mit New Noise. Danke.

Received today the latest issue of #NewNoise magazine, the best music magazine there is (in French). Always an excitement to open a new issue and have a first look at the album reviews!
I've read the 'zine in one form or the other (they changed publishers a couple of times before going on their own) for 20 years or so and it forged my music culture, opened my horizons and made me spend way too much money on discs.
