Card 064: Wildebeest
Look out Mufasa!
The giant blocks are a neat bit of visual shorthand to illustrate both his strength and infant-like temperament.
Card 063: Phantasm
Oh sure, Batman can't be in this set, but Phantasm and his eponymous mask can be. 😏
Card 062: Pantha
Great layout, love how she's half in/half out of the spotlight. Geoff Johns is waiting just offscreen, waiting to attack.
Card 061: Cyborg
There's an elegant visual simplicity to Cyborg that Grummett captures well: his name is Cyborg, he looks like a cyborg, he's shiny and metal, it's all there.
Card 060: Deathstroke
Look at that sexy muscly shirtless old guy on the back!
I like how the bio dances around "assassin" w/stuff like "soldier of fortune" & "mercenary", his version of "legendary crimebusting team".
Card 059: Nightwing
Our semi-regular reminder that Topps held the rights to Batman cards (and his surrounding universe) at this time, hence the need to dance around Dick's previous partnership.
