Gracias a @aavellanedam descubro este notable noir, de trama muy sencilla y gran ritmo, con grandes momentos y un interesante toque de humor. Afilados y cínicos diálogos en una memorable actuación de Ann Sheridan. Y sale un perro.

Noir vestido de melodrama, sobre una pasión que se desborda como las cataratas que dan título a la película. Magnífico empleo del color y una Marilyn estupenda como femme fatale. Notable.

“Trapped” is a fast paced and low budget #FilmNoir that unfortunately, like far too many films, gets held back by the fucking Hayes Code BUT despite that it’s still a good watch. I’ll definitely be back for the morning encore to rewatch this one.
