Remote work enables working when you're not 100% well. In some ways, it's a good thing (work doesn't pile up), but on the other hand, it normalizes working when sick.

My experience in the UK and Czech Republic was that you're expected to come in sick, and any longer absences are considered as a nuisance to your team. A long time ago, I even resigned after my Czech boss made me feel guilty for being sick for a week. In England, I was literally begging my colleague to go home when she almost fainted at work.

But I know, we're completely spoiled up here🤐 when it comes to working life. Don't mind that 😄
