Esiste la storia di uomini illustri che hanno fatto la Storia, di persone straordinarie sopravvissute al logorio del tempo. Accanto ad essa, e forse sotto, brulica la vita di piccoli ma grandi individui che talvolta, in occasioni uniche ed eccezionali, smettono i panni consunti dell’ordinario per assumere sembianze eroiche. Così accadde all’intero popolo napoletano durante le quattro giornate di Napoli, così fu per Maddalena Cerasuolo ovvero Lenuccia, all’epoca una giovane ragazza di 22 anni che offrì il suo sostegno umano e militare contro l’occupazione nazista. Grazie al suo coraggio, assunse un ruolo sempre più significativo all’interno della città e principalmente all’interno del suo quartiere, La Sanità.
Lenuccia è l’emblema della forza di tutti i napoletani che si sono ribellati, di tutte le donne che hanno impugnato le armi per i propri figli. Uno spettacolo per non dimenticare, per non accettare con rassegnazione i soprusi e le ingiustizie, per rinunciare all’egoismo e fare posto al bene comune.

Giovanni Pesce è una figura leggendaria del Novecento italiano. Lavoratore immigrato in Francia, combattente repubblicano in Spagna, comandante dei GAP in Italia durante la guerra di Liberazione, è stato un punto di riferimento per tante generazioni di antifascisti fino alla
sua morte, a Milano, nel 2007.
Onorina Brambilla, Nori, è stata una comandante partigiana attiva prima nei gruppi di difesa delle donne e poi nei GAP, con il nome di battaglia di Sandra. Arrestata e torturata nel carcere di Monza, nel 1944, riesce a sopravvivere e a partecipare alle attività del CLN. Giovanni e Nori, una storia di Amore e di Resistenza è una doppia biografia scritta a quattro mani da Daniele Biacchessi e da Tiziana Pesce.
