Watching #ElSalvador adopt #bitcoin via a wallet that appears to have been produced in the #USA by #BillGates' and #Microsoft's #LightningLabs just makes us feel somewhat uneasy.
Is anyone else queasy?
If we lived in ElSalvador we'd move our $30 worth of the #cryptocurrency off the #ChivoWallet at the very first opportunity. We hope this is possible.

Sounds like a #bitcoin IOU? We all know what happens with IOUs, people start trading them rather than the asset itself and it allows all sorts of dodge.
Just remember – not your keys, not your bitcoin.
Trusted institutions will need to handle any Layer2 though, bitcoin can only really handle 500 million people making a transaction every two years.
So we still need trusted institutions. The hope is they will be smaller. *wink*
Have people worked out that the extremelyWealthy are now just buying #bitcoin every time money is printed for them?
The only difference between how an elite and how a pleb buys bitcoin is that the pleb stores their keys unencrypted on a server owned by the #extremelyWealthy.
Later when elite steal your coins they will blame it on "#hackers".
