If anyone here plays either Over The Edge, or Unknown Armies, can you please tell me if the characters below, made in heroforge, would be or would not be typical player #characters (or npcs).

I'm reading the third edtion of OTE but currently lack any edition of UA. My knowledge of UA is second hand and I'm wondering if these seem like typical #occultists in the setting.

A skinny, white man is standing on a brown cobblestone road. He has messy, long brown hair, slightly larger than average eyes, and much larger than average nose. There is a bruise under his right eye and a nosebleed coming from his left nostril.

He is dressed in a dark grey pinstriped suit. The jacket is open, revealing several dried blood stains on his light blue shirt. The man is holding a red and brown leather duffle bag in his left hand and wearing copper knuckle dusters on his right.

A young, white woman is standing on a red brick surface. She is dressed in a punk style with a red leather vest, and has a short, dark blue Mohawk for hair. She has a worried expression, with a raised right eyebrow, and her eyes pointing to her right.

Behind the woman is a glowing green spirit. The spirit looks like a skeleton wearing a strange robe and a necklace with three small skulls. He has large, bright green orbs filling up the eye sockets, skeletal wings sticking out from his back, and insectoid antenna on the forehead. The spirit has his bony hands on the woman's shoulders, and is looking as if he is whispering something into her right ear.

A dishevelled old man is standing behind a gravestone. He has long, grey hair and a very long and dirty grey beard, but no moustache. On his forehead is a jagged, X shaped scar. He wears an open black trench-coat, jeans, and black boots. The old man is raising his right arm and screaming something in an angry expression.

In front of the tomb stone, three damaged and decomposing arms are rising out of the dirt...

A white woman of indeterminate age stands on a lush red carpet. She is wearing a black leather body suit and mask with cat shaped ears on top. Her mouth and chin are exposed, revealing a smirking expression. She holds a rose in her left hand and her right hand is resting on the left shoulder of a young, white man kneeling next to her.

The man has brown-black hair slicked backwards, and a lean, but muscular body. He is wearing dark brown leather sandals and gauntlets, and a light blue pair of briefs. He kneels with his torso upright but his head bent downwards, and his arms at his sides.

That's the clothier, right? You get him after defeating Skeletron I think I've read.

So far I'm good enough to defeat the boss in Corruption(Eater of Worlds)...and the eye of cthulhu but I haven't taken it further than that yet.

This doesn't work for all NPCs or does it? I'm gonna look it up

Okay, upping this to 8.5/10. It's a lot of fun now that I've gotten more into it. Played on my #VitureXRPro glasses last night and whoa 👀 now THAT was dope af. Way less neck strain that way too: #ergonomic #gaming.
I learned you actually have real players on the same map as you, going for the same goals, and they are also enemies! Not just #NPCs running and gunning, though there are plenty and their intelligence is pretty damn good. You can steal everyone's loot! Still working on figuring out the Stash and Marketplace to find the right balance of getting dope gear, selling loot for tokens, and apparently there's a 'forge' style section where I can build weapons and attachments. Need to level up a few more times to open that up.
Just opened up #Ranked too, and it's a solo match (unless you are already in a team) so I control my own destiny, and fight my own fights. As long as you extract from a map, you will progress. If you die, you lose everything on your character, and can't get it back. No Ranked points for dying lol.

#DeltaForce #ProTip only deploy with 1 weapon, the gear with the most available slots, a few hundreds rounds of ammo, 2 or 3 first-aid packs or injectors, at least 2 sergical kits, and 1 debuff. You want to leave plenty of slots open for high value loot, rare weapons you loot from #frags, etc. I've found that carrying anything over 50% capacity doesn't give you space for bigger loot items that have higher values. You end up losing out in the end, unless you take out the #HVTs to earn reward money.

Also, if you're good enough with iron sights or #hipfire, optical upgrades aren't worth the expense IMHO. Barrel upgrades (for distance increases), magazine capacity upgrades, and muzzel or grip upgrades (for enhanced control) are solid. You don't have to pay for the most expensive upgrades to see real differences in gameplay. Even the cheap ones help significantly. Keep in mind, if you die with that modified weapon equipped, you lose it.

Well made game. Will be playing this for a bit lol.
