Finally have a reference for the BenYum soft canon AU that I'm happy with, the last one I really did not vibe with whatsoever. This is the Yumyulack that I draw in any situation with Ben unless stated otherwise, as well as my non-canon-compliant pictures of Yumyulack.

I've latched onto Yumyulack as a character for reasons I cannot quite articulate. I see him struggling in a family that mistreats him often and I like to think that he gets away to college to sorta forge his own path, and meets with my shlorpian oc family in the process. I like to put Yumyulack in a family that doesn't treat him so badly as the solars do. I know it's not a popular interpretation of the canon interactions, but it's how I do it. Putting him in a family that cares for him, as well as giving him a big loving guy, is a form of healing for myself. I guess in a weird way it's a yumeship but in a way I can't exactly define.

Ben's info remains the same as ever, see my oc thread for info on him. In this AU he comes across Yumyulack at a farmer's market in the town his college is in.

I've struggled in the past with making them look the same age, as opposed to Ben looking like an adult, but I think I nailed it in this one.
