#TIL: In #Rendsburg gibt es einen Coworking-Space. Den ersten, inklusiven Coworking Space in Deutschland - betrieben von der #Diakonie.
Man kann dort nicht nur Tische, Büros und Besprechungsräume buchen, es gibt auch einen schönen, hellen Workshop-Raum für bis zu 100 Personen.
50m weiter gibt es außerdem einen "Digitalen Knotenpunkt" in dem man ein Podcast-Studio, 3D-Scanner und Drucker, eine VR-Brille usw. nutzen kann.
Projektleiter Dennis Krabbenhöft erzählte mir, dass ein Mensch im Rollstuhl dort die VR-Brille aufgesetzt hat und dann zum ersten Mal klettern konnte. 🥹 Im Podcast-Studio werden regelmäßig Sendungen von Menschen mit Behinderungen produziert, in denen sie von ihrem Leben erzählen. Das läuft dann u.a. im @OKSH.

After exploring `sh` for a bit, I downloaded and switched to `oksh` - the portable OpenBSD korn shell - as my interactive shell.
Now I have my `.kshrc` configured nicely with my coloured two-line prompt, functions, aliases, and history.

On my new NetBSD install I'm using 'oksh' - the portable version of OpenBSD's ksh - as my shell and wondered what in the world was going on with my arrow keys and moving through the shell history!
Adding...
set -o emacs
... to my ~/.kshrc sorted things out:

I fired up the old iMac G4 and now you can build and run #oksh using the IBM xlc compiler for Mac OS X. It works on Tiger at least, 10.4.11.

ksh users out there. At the moment I'm using emacs mode as it is similar to what I was used to in bash. But if I was to try and fully master vi mode in my #ksh interactive shell is there a way to display in the PS1 prompt what mode it is in ?? I have tried the man page but don't see anything ? Been playing around in vi mode and sometimes I'm forgetting what mode I'm in, so it would be handy if you could somehow either change the prompt or cursor ? 🙃#FreeBSD #Vi #Oksh
ssh-askpass.sh asking for passwords 2 to 3 times when running the oksh shell. Turns out I had to move these two lines from .kshrc to .profile and everyone is happy again for now. Worked fine in bash being in .bashrc but hey ho.
