Ejemplar de Ophrys tenthredinifera en flor. Presenta seis flores en espiga. El labelo es marrón con el borde amarillo y los tépalos son de color rosa. Crece en una pradera con gran variedad de hierbas anuales.

Die Männchen bekommen ein Pollenpaket auf den Kopf geklebt das sie zum nächsten vermeindlichen Weibchen weitertragen. Dieses Nachahmen andererArten nennt man Peckham’sche Mimikry, bei der andere Arten durch Nachahmung angelockt werden.

A wild orchid bloom, possibly of the species Ophrys fusca, grows from a light grey colored rock crevice. The flower is light green-yellow, but has a distinct fleshy lower lip of dark-reddish brown color with a white marking shaped like a 'w'. The lower lip is fuzzy haired and has 3 distinguished lobes.

Scolopendra cingulata (European/Mediterranean scolopender), a 10-15 cm long centipede that is partially hidden below light-grey rocks and gravel. The Scolopender has reddish-brown segments with darker brown stripes, a dark head and red/orange extremities.
