Tuesday, 30.09 4pm - 6pm ‘The fourth estate as arsonist: how headlines normalise right-wing ideologies’ Borders are being closed and migrants and refugees kept away from Europe, whatever the cost. Narratives are needed to legitimise these inhumane actions. Migrants and refugees must be portrayed as dangerous or at least as ‘too many,’ from whom German society must be protected. These narratives are spread not only by Springer's hate speech, but also via the DPA to numerous local newspapers and public media outlets. What is the role of the media in society? What is the DPA and why does it have so much power? Can journalism be neutral? What can we as civil society do to counter the shift to the right in the media? We will seek answers to these and other questions in the workshop.Tuesday 30.09 7pm - 7.30pm Concert wirh Sorah Sorah  is a versatile rapper from Berlin with a multicultural background (UK, Algeria, France) who writes politically and socially critical lyrics in German, English, and French. Her sound ranges from old-school hip hop to grime to soulful choruses—her music aims to empower, motivate resistance, and inspire hope.Tuesday, 30.09 7.30 pm Von Trauer, zu Wut, zu Widerstand! - Memorial Event In 2025 wurden bereits mindestens 16 Menschen von der Polizei erschossen. Die Hälfte davon waren migrantische Geschwister von uns. Das System ist nicht Kaputt, sondern funktioniert: Der Staat überlebt von der Ausbeutung migrantischen Lebens und organisiert die Morde an unseren Geschwistern mit. Sozialer Tod in prekären Jobs oder Tod durch eine Kugel – für Migrant*innen trennt das nur ein deutscher Beamter. Wir kämpfen für unsere ermordeten und unterdrückten Geschwister. Hier und auf der ganzen Welt. Deshalb sagen wir: Von Trauer, zu Wut, zu Widerstand! Denn wir trauern nicht nur um die ermordeten, sondern kämpfen für die Lebenden. Kommt am 30.09. zum Protestcamp am O-Platz und Lasst uns gemeinsam unsere Wut nutzen um dieses politische System, diese Heuchelei und diese abgefuckte rassistische Normalität an der Wurzel zu packen, zu verbrennen und gemeinsam für eine bessere Welt für alle zu kämpfen. An initiative is currently being launched in Berlin. We want to report on the case and call for participation in the commemoration.Tuesday, 30.09 2pm- 4pm Workshop: Resisting Deporations EN, DE Based on an extended version of a workshop by No Border Assembly, this interactive session will teach individual as well as collective actions we can take to counter deportations.​​​​​​​Tuesday 30.09 2 pm - 4 pm Presentation of the history of weapon export from Germany to Israel  EN, DE The complicity of Germany in the colonial project of Zionism reaches back until the 1950s. Friday, 26.09 5.30 pm  Migrantifa Berlin: Demo 101 TRANSLATION POSSIBLE Learn everything you have to know to stay safe(r) at political protests and interventions. Friday 26.09 8 pm LIVING ARCHIVE OF MIGRANT SELF-ORGANIZATION IN EUROPE Translation will be provided (Türkçe, Deutsch, فارسی, Français, العربية , Русский). Ten years after the March of Hope, we return to Oranienplatz, a symbolic place of refugee struggles, to highlight one of the strongest legacies of this movement: people on the move self-organizing for their rights. The evening will bring together initiatives such as International Women* Space, Women in Exile, Jugendliche ohne Grenzen, Whistle of Hope, Refugees in Libya, O-Platz, No Lager Osnabrück, Lampedusa Hamburg and Top Manta Barcelona.  Together we will share experiences and practices of resistance and liberation: protests, community organizing, music, videos, cooking, performances: each expressing what self-organization can mean in different contexts. There will be inputs, discussions, protest music and performances, followed by a campfire and space for informal exchange. The event is part of the WCU caravan of free movement 2025, O-Platz Protest Camp, and the Transnational Chain of Action. Let’s build a living archive of refugee self-organization, solidarity, and resistance; and carry it into the struggles of today and tomorrow. Our resistance will continue and solidarity will win!

Swipe for more information >O-Platz Protest Camp Program Thursday, 25.09. 2pm - 4pm Protest Camp Radio 4pm Open Jam Session 7.30 pm Concert by Aria Khalil 10 pm BonfireThursday 25.09 4 pm Open jam session Come along, bring your instruments, voices, and energy - we want to make music together, be loud, and show our solidarity!Aria Khalil (born 1988) is an Afghan artist and media producer, currently based in Berlin. Since 2008, his work has been closely tied to media and music. At the age of sixteen, he began his media career in Kabul and later created 259000, one of Afghanistan’s most listened-to radio programs for over five years. Together with Masoud Hassanzada, Khalil co-created the acclaimed program “Music Without Stage”, reinterpreting traditional Afghan songs with contemporary and alternative arrangements. In 2021, they also released the song “Nowruz”, dedicated to child laborers and addressing poverty in Afghanistan. Following the fall of Afghanistan in 2021, Khalil migrated to Berlin, where he is now focused on producing electronic music and working on a six-track album scheduled for release soon. Over the past eleven years, he has also dedicated himself to collecting Afghan sound archives, including ambient recordings from cities and rural areas as well as old cassette tapes of traditional folk music.
