先日、といってももう2か月前のことになりますが、マリンピア神戸へ行った時に唯一私が購入していたのが、アディカラー ウーブン ファイヤーバード トラックトップ（ジャージ）という、ナイロン100%のジャージでした。

原色のプレーンなジャージに肩から袖までアディダスの3本線が入っているという、昔ながらの定番デザインですが、ちょっと現代的な雰囲気になっているのではないかと思います。いわゆるジャージ素材ではなく、普段着の上着として着る目的で購入しました。もともと薄手のウィンドブレーカー的なものが欲しいと思っていたので、ちょうどいいと思ったのです。ちなみに製品説明をそのまま引用すると以下の通りです。

色はBetter Scarletという名前ですが、真っ赤、非常に鮮やかな赤です。いい歳してどうなのか、というよりも、ハゲ頭に派手なジャージはちょっと怖いと言われたりもしたのですが、鏡を見なければ私には見えないので気にしません。ちなみにscarletというのは日本語では「緋色」と訳されることが多いようですが、厳密には異なるようですね。Wikipediaによるとスカーレットのカラーコードは#FF2400、緋色は#E54848となっているのでだいぶ異なりますが、もともと色には幅があるのでそんなに厳密なものではないような気もします。

それはさておき、このジャージは先日の韓国旅行の際に持って行って、朝方の気温の低い時に着ていました。9月の下旬で今年は日本も急に涼しくなっていましたが、ソウルでは最低気温がすでに16°Cほどまで下がっていたので、明け方から動き出していた私には、このジャージを羽織るとちょうどいいくらいでした。10時頃になるとだいぶ暖かくなって上着は不要になっていましたが、畳んでバッグの中に入れておいてもそれほどかさばらなかったのも良かったです。周りの現地の方々には「派手なやつが来た」と内心思われていたかもしれませんが、まあ特に問題はなかったと思います。

日本に帰ってきてからは今のところ着る機会がないのですが、もう少し涼しくなったら早朝のウォーキングの時などに着ていくことになると思います。目立つとは思いますが、交通安全のためには悪くないですよね。
