O avanço da soja e do milho no oeste do Pará vem elevando a produção agrícola de municípios como Santarém, Belterra e Mojuí dos Campos, mas também tem agravado um problema de saúde pública: as intoxicações por agrotóxicos.
Os casos de contaminação aumentaram 545% nos últimos cinco anos, segundo o Painel de Vigilância em Saúde das Populações Expostas a Agrotóxicos (VSPEA), do Ministério da Saúde. Foram 200 casos registrados entre 2021 e 2025, ante 31 no quinquênio anterior. Juntos, os três municípios respondem por 10% das intoxicações no Pará na década.
O cenário regional supera a tendência no estado, onde as intoxicações também cresceram, mas em ritmo menor: 150% em cinco anos, passando de 669 notificações (2016–2020) para 1.671 (2021–2025).

Much like that older Altoona case, this most recent one parallels Luigi's case on the issues of when a person must ID themselves to cops.
In this case the cops were called bc of neighbors arguing(their neighbors karened out and called the cops).
The cops say they showed up "to hear both sides" and some how ended up illegally entering an apartment and beating+arresting a man who was not even involved in the initial report.
Now if this weren't all bad enough and dear readers I could understand a few sweet summer children thinking:
"maybe it was JUST one bad apple, its been a few years maybe they got better"
And if that's you, might wanna sit down for this one but here's a story hot off the Altoona presses showing that NO. These local cops have no fucking clue what the constitution is at all.
Detwiler is alleged to have been present, I can't confirm due to cop secrecy.
In that similar PA case Detwiler eventually chased and subdued a random bystander and recovered a firearm and drugs.
The problem is that Detective Detwiler was called for a noise complaint, had NO description of the person at all and had no reason to be suspicious of this person other than the fact they were existing in a "high crime area"
All of this evidence was thrown out and Pennsylvania courts had to explain to Detwiler exactly where he fucked up.
