Kevään ensimmäinen melontareissu, testissä uusi Palm Fuse -kuivapuku. Koska kyseessä on ensimmäinen kuivapukuni, en osaa verrata sitä muihin, mutta mitä olen muiden pukuja katsellut ja hypistellyt, Palm Fuse istuu napakammin mutta ei ole silti ahdistava tai tiellä koska kankaassa on jonkin verran joustoa. Kusiluukku puuttuu, mutta en ainakaan vielä osaa kaivata sitä, eikä siinä ole myöskään aukkopeitteen peittävää vyötä (naisten mallissa tosin on peräluukku). Kyseessä ei ole ehkä ihan varsinainen melontapuku, enemmän sellainen yleiseen vesiurheiluun ja vesillä liikkumiseen sopiva puku, mutta kyllä se melontapuvuksikin sopii. Itselle tärkeä kriteeri miksi valitsin tämän puvun on se, että se on PFAS/PFC-vapaa.

If you get to a certain reservoir early enough and there’s no wind, you’re treated to beautifully glassy water. They’re restricting motorboat access this year to curb invasive species which means more lake for we paddlers!
