The standard in circumstances where a foreign investor or partner can compromise national security is to force that foreign investor to sell their stakes. This is a very regular occurrence in countries like
Thiel's ownership of companies that supply defence and security critical services and goods is threat to German and EU democracy.

Well Mandelson got out while the going was good, but GC’s dodgy clients and their role in lobbying the British Government for Palentir (as one example) are being quietly brushed under the carpet.

As you are aware, there are great misgivings about Palantir's contract with the NHS. 1 set out my concerns a couple of weeks ago, and 1 have stated that the NHS should not be involved with a company which is actively aiding surveillance for Trump's paramilitary thugs ICE, and which has played a close role with the Israeli military in the Gaza genocide. Those horrors aside, I am aware that many in the NHS do not believe Palantir's data platforms are reliable or provide anything they couldn't already access, I am also aware, as I am sure you are, that there have been media reports of close links between Palantir and Peter Mandelson. His lobbying company Global Counsel represents Palantir according to reports in the media. It has also suggested that a meeting in Washington last year between Palantir and Sir Keir Starmer was organised by Peter Mandelson, Cont..
