PhD Position at the Department of Geomorphology and Quaternary Geology, University of Gdańsk, within the PRELUDIUM BIS project
Holocene environmental changes in the Eastern Carpathians – multi-proxy reconstructions from varved sediments of Lake Synevyr.

The project is led by Prof. Wojciech Tylmann from the Paleoenvironmental Research Laboratory, Department of Geomorphology and Quaternary Geology. Candidates are requested to send their CV including scientific achievements, motivation letter, references from the supervisor of their MSc thesis or immediate superior, and consent to the processing of personal data to the following email address: wojciech.tylmann@ug.edu.pl. The final submission deadline is July 26th at 3:00 pm (GMT+2), and the competition results will be announced by July 31st, 2023.

Throwback to a small expedition to the Dachstein Mountains (Austrian #Alps) this September! Together with @Iza_bai and great students we obtained sediment and water samples from a small glacial lake at 2060 m a.s.l. - the first analyses with the new material are already in full swing!
