Hopefully, if one day Israel recognizes sovereignty of Palestine and then Indonesia recognizes sovereignty of Israel, I hope that can change Indonesian people's sentiments towards Israel, which mostly bad.

Thank you to President Prabowo Subianto for giving a signal that Indonesia may establish diplomatic relations with the Israel only if Israel recognizes sovereignty of Palestine. Of course this is quite controversial but it is the only way.

Reuters reports: "Israeli troops enter Gaza's Al Shifa hospital in culmination of siege"

"We can confirm that incubators, baby food and medical supplies brought by IDF tanks from Israel have successfully reached the Shifa hospital. Our medical teams and Arabic speaking soldiers are on the ground to ensure that these supplies reach those in need,"

I've seen UNCONFIRMED reports that #Hamas was shooting people trying to leave the hospital BEFORE the IDF moved in.

The conflict in the Middle East is heart-breaking and I don't want to see innocent civilians suffering, but I think this interview is an example of terrible journalism.

Although the war between #Israel and #Hamas is an emotionally charged issue, good journalists don't take sides while acknowledging the indefinite quality of the war news they are covering.

It's not just that "truth is the first victim in war" - it's that Israel is in no position to count civilian casualties in Gaza and journalists should not be implying by their tone or their questioning that Israeli officials are refusing to acknowledge the deaths happening in Gaza.

Israel's minister of strategic affairs, Ron Dermer, answers some very difficult questions and I think he did a better job than most people in addressing a lot of the information that is being spread about the war.

I'm an #Atheist so I stand with no side. I remove the equation of religion from my thinking & replace it with human rights.

Palestinian Christians, Muslims & Jews lived in relative peace in this region for 700 years before the #Zionist movement formulated a plan to create a Jewish state & supplant Arabs.
