While I was walking along the promenade of the Palic Lake near Subotica in Serbia, one beautiful day in spring I came across this interesting old building which I immediately liked at first sight. It was surrounded by trees and flowers on the green grass, and the beautiful Palic Lake could be seen close to it. The day was coming to end and the sunset was slowly approaching. I took this photo one beautiful may day during my visit to Subotica and Palic lake, which is located in the north of the Serbian province Vojvodina. That spring day was beautiful until suddenly storm clouds began to gather over the lake but There was still a little sunlight under the clouds. I was walking along the promenade by the lake when I arrived at this place. I liked this scene so I took a shot and moved on. This is a view of Palic lake under the dramatic cloudy sky from a small peninsula called "Cape of Poetic Hope". In the distance, you can see the other lake shore and the part of the Palic nature park and on the left, surrounded by grass and flowers there is the sculpture "Wings". which is actually located in the central part of this small peninsula. On the lake, not so far from the shore, there is a small boat illuminated with the last sun rays that day. This sculpture is a work of the first academic sculptor from Subotica, Ana Beslic, whose works adorn Palic and Subotica. In 1957. it was moved from the site of the Memorial Fountain in 1981. to its current position. The sculpture "Wings" is certainly one of the sights of Palic lake and you just can't miss it if you walk by the lake shore. Palic lake with its contents and sights is one of the main touristic attractions in this region and you should surely visit it if you ever come to Serbia. One May day. Palic, Vojvodina, Serbia. The Great park Palic. Subotica, Serbia.

Walking along the promenade of the beautiful Palic lake near Subotica in Serbia, I had to stop and take a photo of this beautiful nature park. It is very beautiful at this time of year when it is full of various colors and everything is so colorful and greenish. That is why it attracts a large number of tourists from all sides and you can't miss it if you ever visit Palic lake because it is a central part of the resort. Great park (1840) which is a unique combination of natural and architectural heritage, stretches from the Water tower to the lake. Its planting began back in 1840. It was designed in the tradition of English gardens and later reconstructed as a Baroque-style park. The first seeds of the park were planted by the locals back in 1840. The great park and the water tower today represent the current value of Palic. Within it, there are numerous cultural and architectural sights such as The Great Terrace which you see in the background. This beautiful old building is probably the most important object in the Palic. It was built in the style of secession in 1912 by the famous Hungarian architects Marcell Comor and Dezső Jakab. A view of the beautiful Palic lake in Serbia one spring day while the clouds slowly hover over it. There are still little nice warm tones left in one part of the sky. Palic lake is the perfect place for everyone looking for a pleasant holiday on the lake, walks in nature and good entertainment. This is one of the most visited destinations in Serbia, primarily due to its beauty and diverse possibilities for holiday and relaxation. legend says that the lake is a remnant of the Pannonian Sea, that existed in this region in ancient times.
