Last, but certainly not least! I set out to make 7 of these, and 7 there now are. :) It's been a very long time since I've seen a project like this through outside of work! <3 The pose was referenced by a stock reference photo by @AdorkaStock .

Happy pride month y'all. I made this one with the idea of a hypothetical future where humans and computers or artificial life have romantic feelings for one another. I always loved "Ghost in the Machine" type stories where the artificial life develops what appears to be a human soul.

Work in progress of Retro Rainbows 6, part of my Pride digital illustration series. The background's blue-white-pink gradient represents the Trans Pride flag. A woman with long, half-shaved hair leans on a metal fence, smirking at the camera. She'll be wearing a leather vest full of pins, patches, and slogans. Her top will have a geometric 80s pattern; her pants will be dark jeans. She's also wearing a futuristic, cyberpunk-esque visor on her face.

At the end of the painting process I felt really courageous and tried to give the fireplace some texture with thicker pastels. I thought every wrong mark could ruin everything but in the end I dont think it's even that visible. :thonking:
