I recognized the poem on that mural and wanted to share it with everyone.

Everyone Will Write Poetry

A dream is an old and forgotten truth
that no one knows how to verify anymore.
Now exile sings like the sea, and anxiety—
the East lies west of the West, false motion is the fastest.
Now wisdom sings, and the birds of my neglected illnesses,
a flower between ash and fragrance,
those who refuse to survive love,
and lovers who turn time backwards,
a garden whose scents the earth does not recognize,
and an earth that remains loyal to death—
because this world is not the sun’s only concern.

But one day,
where the heart once stood, the sun will stand,
and there will be no words in human speech
that the poem will renounce.

Everyone will write poetry,
truth will be present in all words.
In the places where the poem is most beautiful,
he who first began to sing will withdraw,
giving the poem to others.

I accept the great idea of future poetics:
an unhappy man cannot be a poet.

I take upon myself the judgment of the singing crowd:
Who cannot listen to the poem will listen to the storm

but:

Will freedom know how to sing
as the slaves sang about her?
