Experimenting today with udon noodles in ramen soup with stir fried chillies, Chinese chives and fish sausage slices for breakfast.
Impression: It was OK but a traditional udon soup with wakame and aburaage fried tofu would probably have been better. Now I know!

Marinated overnight in pickle juice packed with dill, garlic, and habanero peppers, then sautéed with paprika and black pepper 😊
