Just witnessed something really cool.
I was standing at my front door giving the birds a little bit of food as the 2x juvenile magpies were at the doorstep when one of the 2x annoying regular pigeons started walking up the path towards me, I lightly waved my arm to shoo it off (as the other birds were around and didn't want them to leave) the pigeon took no notice, BUT, two of the noisy miner birds then got up and chased the pigeon off and came back for more food.
They've seen me do this so many times that they've learned to shoo the pigeons off for me in exchange for a regular feed! I now have my own little noisy miner 'army' to keep the pigeons away 😜 👍

LA Times: ‘It is scary’: Oak-killing beetle reaches Ventura County, significantly expanding range
The snails were having a blast munching on a young moringa tree, so yesterday I removed the copper from a broken cable (kept for exactly this purpose) and wound it around the stem.
I tried this a few years ago with another tree and it worked like a charm. Hopefully this simple pesticide free trick will do the job again.
Coffee has many pests that can cause serious damage.
Below are some of the pests I have observed on my coffee farm.
Before I explain what they are and how to prevent them on your farm,
can you name the pest shown below?
