I saw my Niles had burrowed near the little I recently added. I didn’t realize he was still in the burrow and accidentally covered him up w dirt replanting. His indignant little crawling up from the soil was the cutest thing. I think he forgave me pretty quickly though because I had left them both a soggy broccoli for supper.

Two snails in a tank. The larger can be seen closer to the camera, hanging upside down from the lid with its head and eyes fully extended, looking quite happy. The smaller can be seen in the background, clinging to the left wall and happily munching on some unseen broccoli. It’s hidden by their new plant, a small burro’s tail succulent (I think.) The plant is of varying shades of vivid greens, with many small, enlongated and rounded leaves along its short stem. The tank is freshly misted and the small water dish is freshly filled. Their speckled-grey terra cotta house, in the shape of a mushroom, can be seen in the background. Off to the side, a thick, roughly-shaped piece of mossy bark.
