A huge clump of petunias mostly fills the lower left 1/4 of the frame, a similar clump can be seen further away and behind both of those a flagpole with an American and POW/MIA flag and a small historic brick building with a square footprint seen corner-on. Behind it all a blue sky with high-altitude clouds with power lines that don't quite meet at a 90 degree angle because I used a wide angle lens and I was looking up from the ground.

On what was a beautiful sunny day, Mother Nature’s blossoming vibrant heart was as pure as the petunias!

In the middle-left of the image find three open flowers and one close (I think) come out of of foliage from the bottom, these aare made of pentagonal lobes and are basically white with a purple core and purple lines radiating out from the center, in the background find (I think) window with parallel almost horizontal lines.

These petunias are named Amazonas Plum Cockatoo lol. They bloom really well!

A raised bed that just had beets pulled out of it. There are 4 cucumber plants, 2 melon plants, lots of marigolds, some petunies, and other various things growing but the soil of the bed is visible now and needs to be mulched. There are some old hollyhocks on the near end of the bed and it has a trellis from a cattle panel above the bed. There are yellow flowers on the cucumbers, pink hollyhock, pink petunia, and orange marigolds.

A dark purple eggplant that is emerging from it's thing that covers it up until it gets bigger.

A photo of a 8x4 foot raised bed, 2.4m x 1.2m, that has eggplants on each end near and far, jalapeno hot peppers on the left side and California Wonder 300 bell sweet peppers on the right. The edge of the right side has basil plants with some Thai basil near and lemon and/or lime past it and some Dark Opal basil at the far end. There are also two volunteer tomatillo plants near the far end that are as tall as the eggplants and have yellow blossoms.

The other raised pepper bed of the same size, it has 2 eggplants each end, all the pepper plants are Red Marconi which are long pointy sweet peppers, and the right edge has some marigolds and the center has a white volunteer petunia and some basil plants. Beyond the bed are runner beans on a 10-line cattle panel trellis.

The 4th of July is fluttering by.

A half dozen large pink flowers in a raised vegetable garden bed that also has beetroot, cucumbers, small cantaloupe melons, marigolds, some fireweed, and much more.

Still obsessed with how the hanging baskets have turned out this year 🤩 A few people have asked what the secret it, but I’m not going to pretend that I completely know what I’m doing 😂 … but I think the key is….

✅ Water retaining granules sprinkled in at the start with the potting mix (I just used whatever was cheapest!)
✅ A handful of slow release fertiliser mixed in
✅ Water every day! 💦
✅ A good old deadhead every other day (definitely with Petunias)✂️ 🌸
✅ A liquid feed every week (I’ve been using Micracle Grow)

Apart from that just winging it and hoping it lasts until the end of summer! 😂🤞🏻🌺🌼🪻🌸
