I wonder what underwater civilizations' names for the "animal buffs" are. There's plenty of diversity in life under the sea, so it seems like it shouldn't be hard to come up with alternate names. There's no reason why merfolk and sahuagin would name spells after land animals and inland birds, after all.
It only took nearly 3 years (*), but my pirate-themed #Pathfinder Skull & Shackles game just finished part 3 (of 6), with the Free Captain's Regatta

My halfling hunter isn't eloquent, but she's got guns and a big dog who is a VERY GOOD BOY <3
And that good boy may have gotten a crit off for 16d8+15 on a boss. You know, because he's the best boy <3

I had a fun time running my new Pathfinder campaign again this week. The players encountered a reluctantly polite robot-like creature, so I took the opportunity to insert a little Murderbot-ish snark... Then they got to the semi-boss fight and won out without too much difficulty. At 2nd level, things can turn really bad really fast but they managed to dodge those bullets. They still have a couple of fights and such to wrap up this first chapter. I'm enjoying it so far.

In the midst of panic-buying survival things, managed to put some money towards a pleasant thing.
Namely, after having picked up a used copy of the first chapter of Hell's Rebels cheap to round out an order months ago and liking what I saw, I finally ordered the other five chapters from Paizo, and they arrived today.
...Also their six plainest dry-erase battlemaps, because of the possibility of offline play happening... forced so by dystopian developments or not.
Talking about the Satanic Panic, some of our experiences with Old School & New School gaming, and much more!

This is my Time dragon Aetas, originally created for a TTRPG in #GURPS but it unfortunately didn't last that long. I've since used her in a couple other games including #PF1E and #DnD5e but nothing ever really took off.

On the subject of #Mimics in #Pathfinder1e
Here is a snippet from the bestiary regarding their ability to mimic objects.
Mimic Object (Ex)
A mimic can assume the general shape of any Medium object, such as a massive chest, a stout bed, or a door. The creature cannot substantially alter its size, though. A mimic’s body is hard and has a rough texture, no matter what appearance it might present. A mimic gains a +20 Racial Bonus on Disguise checks when imitating an object in this manner. Disguise is always a class skill for a mimic.
Environment any
Organization solitary

Heck it even suggests a Door there! And here I thought it was being a little bit original...
With this said, any GM/DMs out there, let's come up with some fun and effective Mimics with these limitations in mind.
My personal favourite is a privie, an old style toilet, but a Mimic, literally catching adventurers with their pants down.
Just need to share this snippet of a convo between me and my little brother that happened just now.
The pun was not premeditated, honestly.
