Newly emerging red leaves are quite like blossoms.

I'm fed up with the so called glee feasts after trekking. Glee feasts for what? A sign of gluttony? Or an excuse for excess in eating? No wonder Taiwan's obesity prevalence ranks No. 1 in East Asia. Most of us walk on well maintained trails. If we feel tired, that's because we are not strong enough. The trekking itself with scenery along the way is a feast.

When I applied at the check station of the trailhead, it had been raining cats and dogs and the cloud still seemed heavy and grey. "Are you sure you still want to go up to take pictures?" the gatekeeper asked. "Yes. You never know." I replied, with a sly smile. And, I was right!
