I can’t say reading about the planned formation of a Scouts Scotland Pipe Band is a surprising development, though I was a little surprised there’s apparently never been one.
I do wonder if there’s a point though, as even in my short time #Scouting it seems that ad-hoc pipe bands form easily at various Scottish Scouts events. There were pipers at the Cubs Camp I was at last weekend. So do they really need to formalise it? It’s kinda nice as is.
