No sé si #SteamOS sirve para que se conozca más el software libre. Steam en sí mismo es software privativo y la mayoría de #videojuegos que distribuye también lo son.
Yo pienso que sí, más que Android incluso. Los dispositivos Android tienen el cargador de arranque bloqueado y raro es el que se puede desbloquear. Si instalas una ROM distinta pierdes la posibilidad de ejecutar determinadas aplicaciones.
Por ahora los dispositivos SteamOS no están bloqueados ni los servicios básicos dependen exclusivamente de la tienda de #Valve y sus APIs, a diferencia de los OEM certificados por #Google. La certificación por Google no requiere que se deba permitir bloquear el arranque con tus propias llaves.

Deep links that worked just fine in January no longer work. Apparently because the /.well-known/assetlinks.json is behind a redirect 🤷♂️
